Rangetop Repair in Houston
Monogram rangetops are gas cooking surfaces built into countertops, with sealed burners and heavy grates, available in several widths. We repair ignition, flame and control problems, and we check gas supply and ventilation before replacing parts.

Common rangetop problems we fix
In the order we see them across Houston homes.
One burner will not light or relight
Flame small, yellow or uneven
Clicking continues after the burner lights
Smell of gas when burners are off
Knobs loose, stiff or not turning fully
Grates or caps no longer sit flat
Monogram rangetops are built into the counter and offer gas burners in several widths, with heavy cast grates, a cooktop surface that is easy to clean and, on some models, a griddle or grill. They sit under a hood, so the cabinet below and the vent above both matter to how they perform.
Houston kitchens use a lot of high heat and generate a lot of steam and grease, and both work into burner heads and igniters. Spilled sauce dries in the ports, and humid air corrodes the spark leads under the surface. Coastal homes see more corrosion on the exposed metal.
We inspect the burner heads, ports, igniters, spark module, gas supply, regulator and valve, and we confirm the fuel type. Then we explain what the evidence shows, what it cannot show by itself and what a repair costs before work begins.

Genuine OEM parts, stocked for the most common repairs.
A written price, approved by you before any work starts.
A 30-day workmanship warranty on every repair.
Why does one burner click while the others work?
The igniter, the cap seating or the burner port is the likely cause, since those are specific to that burner. We clean and reseat the parts, then test the igniter and spark lead before ordering anything.
Should I be worried about the smell of gas?
Yes. Turn off the gas at the valve, keep sparks and flames away and ventilate the room. If the smell continues, call your gas utility. We do not relight a unit until the source has been found.
Can a rangetop run on propane?
Only if it has been converted with the right orifices and regulator. Many Houston homes outside the city use propane. Tell us which fuel you have, because the burners behave differently when set for the wrong one.
