ZWE23NST
Monogram ZWE23NST Counter-Depth Refrigerator Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Sabbath Mode setting and whether normal control returns when it is off
- Internal display reading versus actual cabinet temperature
- Evaporator fan and defrost operation
- French-door and freezer drawer gaskets
ZWE23NST is a Monogram counter-depth French-door refrigerator, 36 inches wide, 70.5 inches tall and 31.5 inches deep, with 23.10 cubic feet. It has an internal electronic digital temperature display, a Sabbath Mode and an energy-efficient listing.
Sabbath Mode changes how some features behave, so when owners report a quiet display or a light that stays off, we confirm that mode is switched off before looking deeper. After that we measure the cabinet, check the fan and defrost operation, and look at the seals of both French doors and the freezer drawer below.
We read the model and serial from the data label before any part is ordered. You approve a written price first, and the work is covered by a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Key features
- 36-inch counter-depth French-door model
- 36 x 70.5 x 31.5 in
- 23.10 cu ft
- Internal electronic digital temperature display; Sabbath Mode, listed as energy efficient
Can Sabbath Mode make my ZWE23NST look like it is not working?
It can. The mode limits some functions, so a dark display or silent dispenser may be intentional. We confirm the setting first, which can save a repair.
What do you test when the fresh-food side is too warm?
We check airflow from the freezer into the fresh-food side, the fan, the vents and the French-door gaskets. A thermometer shows whether the display is telling the truth.
Is this the same as the ZWE23NSY?
They share the same size and capacity but are separate listings from different periods. The label shows the exact number, and we match parts to it.
