ZCG3300V
Monogram ZCG3300V White Compactor Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Keyed safety lock and its switch
- Drawer closing and the switch that tells the unit it is shut
- Ram drive, motor and chain or screw movement
- Bin and bag fit that can jam a cycle
ZCG3300V is a legacy Monogram built-in compactor, 12 inches wide, in white. Its listed size is 12 x 35 x 20 1/4 inches, and it comes with a reversible panel and a safety lock with a key. Like other units in this family it is built to sit under a counter run.
We usually start by checking whether the drawer closes squarely and trips its switch, since a drawer that sits slightly open will block a cycle. The key lock is next, then the ram drive and its motor. If the ram strains or stops partway, we examine the bin and the load path for anything binding.
Before ordering a part we copy the model and serial from the label, which matters when white and black versions use different panels. You approve a written price first, and a 30-day workmanship warranty covers what we repair.

My ZCG3300V runs but does not compress. What is wrong?
The motor may be turning while the drive that moves the ram is slipping or worn. We open the unit, check the drive path and listen under load before we suggest a part, then give you a written price.
Can a bag cause the ram to stop on a 12-inch compactor?
Yes. A bag wedged in the bin or a hard item in the load can stall the ram. We clear the bin, check the ram for bends or damage and then run a test cycle to confirm it moves freely.
Do you replace panels on white compactors?
We can order the correct panel using the model on the label. Because the ZCG3300V has a reversible panel, we confirm color and fit first and price the part in writing before ordering it.
