ZGG48L30
Monogram ZGG48L30 Outdoor Grill Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Ignition and flame on all five burners, grill and cooktop
- Gas connection and regulator, with fuel type read from the label
- Smoker section heat
- Burner ports, grates and drip tray for grease
The ZGG48L30 is a Monogram 48-inch outdoor cooking center, 47 7/8 inches wide, with three grill burners, two cooktop burners and a smoker with rack. The brand listed it from 1998 through 2021 and has since stopped selling it new. Its listing does not state a fuel type.
With five burners and a smoker on one wide body, there are more places for a problem to hide. We begin by lighting the grill burners and the cooktop burners separately, since each set has its own valves and igniters, and we watch for yellow tips, lifting flames or burners that go out. Then we check the supply connection and regulator, because a marginal supply tends to show up first when several burners run at once.
A center this wide is normally built into a long outdoor island, so access from the front is limited and we plan the work around that. Before ordering, we read the model and serial from the label and confirm the gas type. Pricing is written down and approved by you ahead of the work, with a 30-day workmanship warranty behind it.

What is on the ZGG48L30?
It has three grill burners, two cooktop burners and a smoker with rack across a 48-inch body. The listing does not name a fuel type, so we read it from the label.
Why do burners dim when I use the whole unit?
On a wide center, running every burner at once can expose a weak supply or a tired regulator. We check supply and regulator first, then the individual ports.
Is a 48-inch unit harder to service?
Often, because it is set into a long island and the sides are boxed in. We plan access first, and we tell you before the work starts if panels or trim need to come off.
