ZVIS361SR
Monogram ZVIS361SR Island Pyramid Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Air quality sensor response and automatic fan changes
- Touch control and Wi-Fi connection
- Blower noise at different speeds
- Filters and the ceiling duct
The ZVIS361SR is a 36-inch island pyramid chimney vent hood with air quality sensors, new since 2025. It hangs above an island cooktop, uses electronic touch controls, and can connect through built-in Wi-Fi with Bluetooth.
With connected features, we separate the hood from its settings. We test the touch controls, run the blower through its speeds, and see whether the fan reacts when the sensors detect cooking air. If it will not join your network, we check the connection and the control board’s response. Island hoods like this exhaust through a ceiling duct, so the damper and duct are checked too.
Models of this type are quiet when the airflow path is clear, so a sudden loud blower often points to restriction. We confirm the model and serial from the label before ordering anything, and a written price comes first.

The fan on my ZVIS361SR no longer speeds up by itself. What do you check?
We check the sensor readings, the control response and the Wi-Fi settings. Then we test the blower manually to be sure it follows each speed, which tells us whether the sensor or the fan needs attention.
Does the hood need Wi-Fi to work?
The touch controls run the hood directly. Wi-Fi with Bluetooth is a connected option, so a network problem should not stop basic fan and light operation. We test both paths separately.
Why does an island hood need a ceiling duct check?
All the air rises through one duct, so a stuck damper or a loose joint has a large effect on performance. We inspect the accessible parts during the visit and report what we see.
