Refrigeration Repair in Houston
Monogram refrigeration covers paneled and stainless columns, French-door and side-by-side models, and bottom-freezer units. We repair cooling, defrost, ice and water-dispenser problems, and we work around panels and tight built-in cutouts.
Common refrigeration problems we fix
In the order we see them across Houston homes.
Fresh-food section warmer than the setting
Water pooling at the bottom of the cabinet
Ice maker stops filling or makes small cubes
Loud buzzing or clicking from the back
Frost building on the freezer back wall
Door does not seal or sweats on the edge
Monogram refrigeration in this line includes built-in columns that pair as refrigerator and freezer, bottom-freezer and French-door models, and counter-depth units. Many are fitted with panels, and the cabinet around them is often tight, so airflow and access matter as much as the cooling parts themselves.
In Houston homes, heat and humidity work against any refrigerator. Condenser coils collect dust and pet hair faster in a warm kitchen, door gaskets soften over the years, and a tripped breaker after a storm can leave a unit off for hours before anyone notices. A unit in a garage pantry works even harder.
We check the basics first: door seal, coil condition, fan operation, defrost drain, water filter age and the actual temperatures inside, not just the display. Then we say what the sign points to and what it cannot prove by itself, so you approve the repair with a written price in hand.

Why is my Monogram column warm even though it runs?
A running compressor does not prove the sealed system is working. Dirty condenser coils, a stuck damper, a failed fan or a defrost problem can all leave the cabinet warm. We measure temperatures and airflow first, then name the cause before quoting.
Can you work on a panel-ready refrigerator?
Yes. We remove and refit panels with care and check the fit against the cabinetry afterward. If the unit has to be pulled from its opening, we tell you before we start and note any cabinet limits that apply.
Is a water leak always the water line?
No. A clogged defrost drain, a cracked filter housing, a loose fill tube and a failed inlet valve all leave water in the same place. We trace the path from the source down before deciding what to replace.
