Monogram ZEU365ABG / ZEU365BWG Cooktop Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Wide-zone or bridge element that heats unevenly
- Control pad that ignores or repeats presses
- One zone out while others work
- Indicator light that stays on when cool
ZEU365ABG and ZEU365BWG are two full numbers on the same 36-inch Monogram electric cooktop base. We read the complete number from your label because the finish letters affect which glass top and trim fit.
A 36-inch cooktop has more zones than a 30-inch one, so a single dead zone is easy to notice and often easy to isolate. We test each zone under load, check the terminal block for heat damage, and confirm the control pad sends the right signal. The hot-surface lights are checked against actual glass temperature. If the glass is damaged, we point it out before power goes back on.
Parts are ordered only after the label confirms your number. You see a written price before we start, and repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty.

How do I tell which cooktop number I have?
Look at the label under the cooktop or on the frame edge. The full number, including the finish letters, tells us the exact version and the parts to order.
One zone is out. Is the whole cooktop bad?
Usually not. We test that zone's element, limiter and terminal connection one at a time, so you pay for the single failed part and not for a replacement cooktop. The result and the price are given to you in writing.
Do you replace the glass top on a 36-inch cooktop?
Yes, when a matching top exists for your exact number. If the glass is cracked we stop use, confirm the part from the label, and give a written price before ordering anything.
