ZES1227SL
Monogram ZES1227SL Countertop Microwave Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Wobbling turntable
- Latch switch chain
- No heating with light on
- Panel connection
The ZES1227SL is a Monogram countertop microwave oven with a 2.2 cubic foot capacity and glass touch controls. The brand lists it as 24.125 inches wide, 14 inches high and 19.75 inches deep, with ZES1227SLSS as the variant.
It is closely related to the built-in ZEB1227SL by size and capacity, but this unit is meant to sit on a counter. We still open the case only after unplugging it and discharging the high-voltage section. Our checks are the door latch and interlock switches, the heating circuit, the turntable and the glass touch panel, plus the vent openings on the case.
Before ordering parts we read the model and serial on the label, and you get a written price first. Our repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Is the ZES1227SL the same as the built-in ZEB1227SL?
Both have a 2.2 cubic foot capacity and glass controls, but the ZES is a countertop model and the ZEB is a built-in. We match parts to the label.
Why does the turntable wobble?
We check the tray seating, the roller ring and the motor coupler. A worn roller or a tray that is off its coupler is a common find on a unit of this type.
Do you repair large countertop microwaves?
Yes. We diagnose on site, open the case only after discharging the high-voltage section, and give a written price before we start any repair. Larger jobs are explained to you first.
