ZEU36RBF
Monogram ZEU36RBF Digital Cooktop Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Touch controls that freeze or ignore presses
- Zone that does not reach full heat
- Control that beeps without starting an element
- Surface lights that stay on
The ZEU36RBF is a 36-inch Monogram digital electric cooktop with electronic touch controls, listed from 2001 to 2021. It is 36 inches wide and 6 1/4 inches high, and ZEU36RBFBB is the listed variant.
We check the touch controls first, then each cooking zone under load, then the surface lights. A control that responds but leaves a zone cold usually leads us to the element or a relay behind it, and the extra height means we check the cabinet clearance before lifting the unit. Whatever we find, we explain it in plain terms before you approve a repair.
We confirm the model and serial from the label before we order parts. You get a written price before the work, and our repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Why do the touch controls ignore my presses?
Moisture, a worn pad or a failing control board can all cause it. We test the pad, clean the surface contacts and check board output before suggesting a part.
Is the cooktop height a concern for repair?
Moisture, a worn pad, or a failing control board can each cause this. We test the pad and its surface contacts first, then board output, so we replace only the part that actually failed.
What is ZEU36RBFBB?
At 6 1/4 inches high, the unit reaches further into the cabinet than a thin cooktop does. We check clearance below the counter before lifting or testing it, so nothing is damaged during service.
