ZEU36KBK
Monogram ZEU36KBK Rotary Cooktop Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Rotary switch that clicks but gives no heat
- Element that heats only on high
- Knob that spins loosely or sticks
- Cracked or chipped glass surface
The ZEU36KBK is a 36-inch Monogram electric cooktop with infinite heat rotary controls, listed from 2005 to 2021. It measures 36 by 3 1/4 by 21 1/4 inches, and the ZEU36KBKBB is the listed variant.
Because the heat is set with rotary knobs, the switches are a regular first check. An infinite switch controls how long the element stays on in each cycle, so a switch that clicks without delivering power, or an element that only heats on high, points to the switch or its terminals. We also look at the elements and the glass.
We confirm the model and serial from the label before ordering any part. A written price comes before work, and our repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Why does my element only heat on high?
A worn infinite switch can lose its lower settings, so the element runs only at full output. We test the switch and the element separately before replacing either.
Is ZEU36KBK the same as ZEU36KBKBB?
ZEU36KBKBB is the listed variant of the ZEU36KBK, and the label on your cooktop tells us which one you own. We read it first so the knobs, switches or glass we order match your exact unit.
Can a loose knob be fixed?
Often yes. We check the knob fit and the switch shaft; if the switch is worn, we replace it and quote the price in writing first.
