What LOCKED flashes in display means
On Monogram 30-inch single and double convection wall ovens in the ZET1 and ZET2 series, the display message LOCKED flashing is not an F code. If you selected self-clean and the door is not closed, close the door and the message stops. If the LOCKED light is on when you want to cook, the door is locked because the oven temperature has not dropped below the locking temperature. Turn the knobs to off and let the oven cool until the lock releases.
Common causes of LOCKED flashes in display
- Door not fully closed after selecting self-clean
- Oven still above the locking temperature
- Controls left in a cleaning setting
1. Close the oven door all the way. 2. Set the Oven Mode and Temperature knobs to OFF. 3. Allow the oven to cool until the door lock releases and the light goes out. 4. If LOCKED stays on after the oven is cool to the touch, call us and tell us what you had selected.
- If the door stays locked once the oven is cool, the latch or its switch may be failing, and we test them
- We check the door position switch because a door that looks shut may not be read as shut
- We do not force a locked door open

Why is LOCKED flashing?
Usually because self-clean was chosen with the door open, or because the door is locked until the oven cools. Closing the door or letting it cool clears it.
How long until the door unlocks?
It depends on how hot the oven was, so we cannot give a time. Leave the knobs off and check back after the oven is cool to the touch.
Can I force the door open?
Please don't. The lock protects you from a hot cavity and forcing it can bend the latch. If it stays locked when cool, call us.
