Monogram ZEK757W Convection Oven Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Convection fan operation in each cavity
- Upper and lower element glow
- Self-clean door lock release
- Control and display response
The ZEK757W is a Monogram 27-inch electric double oven with convection and a self-cleaning cycle. It is 26 13/16 inches wide, 50 3/4 high and 24 7/16 deep, with independent cook and clean controls and a flush-appearance installation. Listings show it from 1996 through 2021.
With two cavities stacked in a tall cabinet, we begin by finding out which oven is the one in trouble. We check bake and broil elements, the convection fan and the temperature probe in each cavity, and we measure real heat against the dial setting. Owners often mention a cleaning cycle that ends with a door still locked or a fan that hums louder than it used to, so the lock motor and fan bearings get a look as well.
The flush fit means the oven sits tight against its trim, and we take care not to mark the surround. Reading the label is our first step before parts are chosen. You approve the price in writing before work starts, and a 30-day workmanship warranty applies afterward.

Error codes this model can show
How tall is the ZEK757W?
It is listed at 50 3/4 inches high, 26 13/16 wide and 24 7/16 deep. It is a double oven with convection and self-cleaning. We measure your cabinet opening too, so the oven can come forward without scraping.
Does each oven have its own controls?
The listing says independent cook and clean controls. We test each cavity separately so we know whether a problem belongs to one oven or to the shared control.
The convection fan got loud. What can you do?
We listen with the oven running, check the fan blade and its motor bearings, and look for anything that has shifted. On a fan of this type, a worn motor is more common than a damaged blade.
