ZDP36L6DSS
Monogram ZDP36L6DSS Propane Range Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Six burner lighting on propane
- Regulator and orifice match
- Oven ignition and heat
- Gas connection and shutoff
The ZDP36L6DSS is a 36-inch professional range with six burners, built for liquid propane and sold from 2001 to 2021. It is now a legacy model, and six burners over one oven is the layout its owners usually describe.
On a six-burner propane range, a single dark burner is often a local problem, while several poor burners point to supply or regulator. We light all six, compare the flames, and then take the burner caps off to inspect ports and electrodes. The oven is checked for ignition and for heat that follows the setting. Because the range is a legacy model, we look at the gas connection for wear as well.
We read the model and serial from the label before ordering. A written price comes first so you can decide with the facts.

Error codes this model can show
Only the rear burners are weak on my ZDP36L6DSS. What does that suggest?
It can mean a blocked port, a partly closed valve or pressure that falls under load. We test one burner at a time, then all together, to see which of these applies.
Is a six-burner range harder to service?
There are more igniters and burners to test, but each check is simple. The time goes into working through all six and cleaning the ones that are dirty, and the price stays in writing.
Can you find parts for a 2001 range?
Often we can, depending on the part. We read the label first, then tell you what is available and what it costs before you commit to the repair. Older ranges can take longer to source.
